Playful Art Studio is a safe space where you can come be yourself and discover how creative you really are. I believe everyone–YES, EVERYONE–is creative, regardless of previous experience or training.
Playful Art studio employs Expressive Art modalities. Expressive Art is a form of authentic self-expression, it's not a technique that you learn with your mind so that the result will be "art", but more of a joyful process of exploration into your inner self through spontaneous art making. Every human being has the deep urge to express themselves honestly, but we are not often encouraged to be our most unique selves.
Expressive Art requires no special talent, skill or preparation. Because your natural, original style is already within, you need nothing further to begin. You are creative and whole, now and always. Authentic creative expression simply amplifies and reminds you of your wholeness.
Here are the ways you can play at the Playful Art Studio:
Personal Coaching - Work with me one-on-one to discover your authentic, creative self. This is the most transformative work I offer, serving you at the deepest level of your authentic and creative self.
Public Workshops - Take a one-day, two-day, weekly, or weekend workshop in a safe, fun, and playful group environment. Read more about my Workshops and check out the Schedule.
Tailored Workshops - Together we'll create a customized workshop for you or your group.
Come play and discover your most beautiful, creative self!
About Helen Bradley
I am a Transformational Creativity Coach and the Owner and Chief Facilitator at Playful Art Studio, a safe haven for adults to relearn & reengage with their creative self expression, play again and witness their own transformation in a FUN way! Many of my clients have gained confidence and discovered their ability to connect to “who they really are”, which is part of my mission. Some have even changed professions, written books, and become professional Artists.
I grew up in Texas and started my professional life as a Kindergarten/Preschool teacher, after getting my Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics/Child Development from Texas Tech University. I have always had a creative flair and have a special gift of seeing the creative spark in everyone–child or adult! In the classroom with young children you could find me diving into many creative (“way out there”) projects.
I packed up and moved to California to further my education and life experience, and there I worked to earn a Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology, with an emphasis in Consciousness, Health, and Healing from the University of Santa Monica.
During my graduate studies, I heard a calling from within to follow my own creative path and courageously quit my job to pursue creating and launching my own business. In the process of realizing my own dream and calling, I also became certified as an Expressive Art Facilitator and a professional Creativity Coach through Pamela Underwood's program.
Through my Expressive Art workshops and private coaching, I create experiences that help my clients transform their lives and enhance their Self Expression.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions or want to explore how I can support you!
